Supply driver rages after buyer leaves 10 per cent tip on £90 meals order

‘$10 on a $100 order? That’s f*****’

A person who ordered meals to be delivered to his house ended up in a heated change together with his rider who was disenchanted together with his tip.

The unnamed man defined in a Reddit publish that he ordered a meal from a high-end restaurant to be delivered to his house through DoorDash, and opted to tip on change.

The restaurant, the person defined, was about 1.5 miles away, “which is a couple of 10-minute drive when you hit all of the reds”.

He stated the order, for him and his spouse, consisted of two entrees and an appetiser, however value, together with taxes and charges, $115 (about £90).

One commenter agreed, saying $10 for a 1.5m journey is a “first rate tip” and “I’d take that run all day every single day. Your driver was impolite.”

A second added: “$10 is totally good. A daily, first rate dasher will attempt to do $1-$2 per mile/journey size. So $1 for a minute of driving to you (50 cents for minute there and again) may be very beneficiant. Dasher was a jerk.”
